A small desk for filings with a fixed rule and a hard date
Public Filing Desk is a small team that prepares the public filings small US public bodies and nonprofits owe. We work from structured checklists built on the rule text, from the public data regulators publish, and with outside reviewers for the judgment calls.
Why these three filings
Each is a filing the regulator expects the organization itself to prepare and submit, with a rule that says exactly what goes in, a public deadline, and records the organization already holds. That combination is where outside preparation helps most and costs least: the work is hours of careful transcription and checking, not judgment that only a licensed professional can make.
Small organizations feel it most. A rural water district, a township with one part-time treasurer, or a fraternal order run by volunteers has the records but not the hours. Larger bodies have staff or a firm on retainer for this. We built the desk for the others.
How we work
- Structured checklists. Every service runs from a worksheet built line by line from the rule text and the regulator's own form, so nothing in the filing depends on memory.
- Public data first. Every job starts from the regulator's public record: EPA's drinking water database, the Illinois Comptroller's late list, the IRS exempt organizations master file. You see what we see, free, before you spend anything.
- Outside reviewers for judgment calls. A licensed reviewer, an enrolled agent or exempt-organization attorney, on every IRS package; an experienced water-industry reviewer on every water kit. Where a question needs a lawyer, an auditor or an engineer, we say so.
- You stay in charge. Your officer decides, signs and files. We never log in as you or contact a regulator for you.
- Sources on the page. Every rule fact on this site links to its official source, with the date we checked it.

Every quote carries a delivery date, counted from the day your records reach us.
Corrections at no charge
Anything wrong or missing, reported within 10 business days of delivery, is corrected free.
Returned filings fixed free
If the regulator sends a filing back for a reason inside our work, we fix it at no charge.
Your records protected
Providers confirmed in writing before paid work; working files returned or deleted within 30 days after the work ends.

Liability capped at the fees paid, British Columbia law, and a plain summary of every term.
